Statfold Seed Oils are a major manufacturer and supplier of natural and refined seed oils such as flax, hemp and borage using the most advanced technology available.

This technology ranges from our twenty state of the art twin screw cold press expellers, to the recent completion of a CO2super critical gas extraction plant, all of which are certified organic by the UK Soil Association (Licence P6017). Our facility also includes two innovative batch refiners that can bleach and deodorise 125kg – 2000kg of oil per day.

Much of the seed procured is grown either on our own farm or by contractual farmers thereby helping to sustain the farming industry. All seed oils are pressed, refined and packaged or bottled at our premises therefore alleviating the need for costly outsourcing and ensuring that all our produced oils have full traceability from seed to final product.

We have firmly established our place in the market supplying lipid oils and, bulk and essential oils including organic, to the personal care and nutritional industries. We currently stock over 60 products and our reputation as a niche oil supplier is well earned as we offer many speciality oils exclusively. All oils are accompanied with full certification including Safety Data Sheets, and dermatology information can also be provided.

A fully automated bottling plant enables us to fill, label (with batch and date stamp) and cap both our own brand or customers own label products and serves our growing customer base for organically certified nutritional oils, such as hemp and flax oil.

Statfold Seed Oils are strong supporters of community and fair trade programmes and have established trade partnerships throughout the world to ensure stability of supply whilst offering better quality of life to groups in countries of difficulty.

We have an extensive customer base that includes individual soap makers, small retail/production outlets and large blue chip companies.
