Passion Seed Oil - Passiflora Cacrulca

The subtropical Passion fruit is a vigorous, climbing vine that clings by tendrils to almost any support. It can grow 15 to 20 feet per year but is generally short-lived (5 to 7 years).
It is mainly eaten as a fruit however, the pulpy juice found within is used in cordials, sorbets etc.

Within the cavity of the Passion fruit as many as 250 small, hard pitted seeds are contained and it is these we use to obtain the Passion Seed Oil.

The oil produced is rich in Omega 6 and 9, non sticky and light. Suitable for stand alone use or for blending with other oils.
